Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Lebanon, OH. It also requires up to 30% travel as needed domestically and internationally. The role includes:
Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of business operations to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Work closely with the executive leadership team and stakeholders and shape the strategic direction of the company. Oversee day-to-day operations and responsible for the delivery of results. Major accountabilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth, expand market presence, and capitalize on new opportunities in the USA and Canada. Define and communicate the company’s vision, mission, and values to align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement short-term and long-term initiative to achieve company goals, drive revenue growth, and expand market share.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitability and sustainability. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide inspirational leadership to the executive team and employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop talent within the organization.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to diversify revenue streams and enhance competitiveness. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry partners.
- Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to enhance our company’s capabilities, expand service offerings, and drive business growth. Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to explore new market opportunities and drive innovation.
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of operations, including project management, resource allocation, and quality assurance, to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline business processes, optimize workflows, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Risk Management: Assess risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to anticipate challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, to align business objectives, streamline processes, and drive organizational success. Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and innovation across the organization.
- Corporate Governance: Uphold high standards of corporate governance, ethics, and integrity. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and maintain transparent communication with shareholders and stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach, understanding and exceeding customer expectations; Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Innovation and Technology: Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and processes to drive product/service innovation and enhance competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution of higher education (or foreign equiv.)
- MBA degree (or foreign equiv.)
- 15 years of progressive experience in technical and managerial roles
- 10 years of experience managing teams and/or project management
- 5 years of experience in condition-monitoring industry in senior management or senior consulting role
- Working knowledge of main principles in corporate finance, legal frameworks, sales management, and resource development
- Experience must be predominantly in industrial sectors
